A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury that occurs when a blow or jolt to the head disrupts normal brain function. This can result in a range of symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, confusion, memory problems, and sensitivity to light or noise. While concussions are often associated with sports, they can happen in any situation where the head is impacted, such as in falls, car accidents, or workplace injuries.
